2018 Texas Nurse Practitioner Foundation Walk
Texas Nurse Practitioner Foundation, (TNPF), sponsors a WALKATHON on the Saturday morning of conference (September 8, 2018) to raise money for NP scholarships.
If you are new to conference, this is a great way to get involved in TNP and make a difference in the future of nurse practitioner practice.
During fall conference registration, you will have an option to register to walk for the walk-a-thon. In addition, you can form a team, set a goal and start collecting donations in your Team’s name. Track all donations on the attached sponsor sign-up sheet. Carry your sponsor sheet to work or to outings and take advantage of opportunities to receive donations. You can even start a little team rivalry and challenge each of the team members to raise the most for the team.
Donations may be taken in the form of cash, check (Payable to the Texas Nurse Practitioners Foundation Scholarship Fund), or by credit card through PayPal.
NOT A WALKER? You can still help raise money for NP scholarships. When you register for the conference, check the box on the registration form to "Donate Not To Walk.” OR…you can have your own fund raising efforts to SLEEP IN FOR SCHOLARSHIPS. See if you can raise the most money for scholarships by getting your Beauty Sleep.
Use the sponsor sign-up sheet to get sponsors to pay you to sleep! If you are a hardworking NP, friends and colleagues may want to take advantage of the opportunity to give you a little shut eye. Prizes will go to the individual who raises the most money walking, sleeping-in, and the Team who raises the most money.
So get out those comfy shoes, stretch those muscles, grab that beauty mask and get ready to raise money for Scholarships.
