The ASAM Fundamentals of Addiction Medicine is a practical, case-based workshop designed for providers new to the field of addiction medicine, such as primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and general psychiatrists, who see patients at risk for or with substance use disorders (SUDs).
This live workshop is designed to be energetic and interactive. Attendees will work through session activities and cases presented by faculty with participants at their table. Sessions throughout the day will include approximately equal parts lecture, demonstration of skills and skill building.
